What is Pandora Music?

Available to music lovers in the USA & PR, Pandora is a subscription-based music streaming service owned by Sirius XM Holdings based in Oakland, California, United States. The service carries a focus on recommendations based on the "Music Genome Project" — a means of classifying individual songs by musical traits. What is the difference between Pandora and Spotify?Pandora is primarily a MUSIC DISCOVERY SERVICE that also happens to offer on demand playing.Spotify is primarily an ON DEMAND PLAYING SERVICE that also happens to have discovery service features.Despite both offering similar features, the main functions differ. Pandora Music caters to user demands where the listener decides what gets discovered and pushed to new listeners. Therefore, ARMY on Pandora Music can decide on BTS music being discovered by new listeners and the general public as opposed to Spotify’s strategy to push what gets autoplayed by the platform itself and is not decided by the users. In conclusion: YOU CAN CONTROL PANDORA’S ALGORITHM (discovery mode/autoplay). You cannot control Spotify’s algorithm (discovery mode/autoplay). With Pandora Music, you can decide how much BTS music is autoplayed for listeners streaming on the platform!Using the Radio Stations provided by Pandora, rating tracks with a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down will give the listener control of what plays on that specific station! The more Thumbs Up BTS tracks get, the more plays/streams they get from new listeners!Streams on Pandora will count on US music charts such as Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200, Social50, and Artist 100!

What are the types and ways to stream on Pandora?

TYPES OF STREAMS

⭐ Autoplayed Streams from stations (also called programmed streams): These streams are weighted less than free or premium on demand streams. 2x-3x less⭐ On demand Streams from playlists: These streams are weighted the same as other platforms depending whether your account is free or premium.⭐ Playlists: Premium subscribers can create their own playlists with 1-2 songs as fillers in between. The filter rate for tracks on Pandora music is very low so there is no limit for how many times tracks can be played in a day.

WAYS TO STREAM

⭐ BTS stations: Search BTS, visit their profile, and tap BTS RADIO. Click on “Artist Only ” so that it only plays BTS. Replay and Thumbs Up every BTS song.⭐ Pandora artist/song/genre stations: Pandora has stations for every song, artist, and genre. These are curated Pandora Playlists. It autoplays similar artists/songs. Once you hit a non-BTS song, thumbs down and skip. Once you hit a BTS song, Thumbs Up right away and listen to it completely. You are allowed to replay the song as it would be you doing the algorithm push.⭐ On demand plays / Manual search: Manually search for a song or artist and tap the song/artist to play.

What is Pandora Now?

Pandora Now is Pandora Music’s own radio station broadcasting for Sirius XM Radio subscribers. Basically playlists, especially the Thumbed Up playlist, is played according to PM music subscribers preferences. This would be a great way to introduce BTS to general listeners.

How do I create a focused playlist?

Focused playlists are 1 or more tracks appearing multiple times in a playlist to increase the stream count. Usually this is done for new releases to contribute to the charts and/or to reach milestones. Thankfully, 1 or 2 fillers for PM playlists will work for these focused playlists.❗Important: Please make it a daily habit to stream albums top to bottom in addition to focused playlists and queueing up your playlists will help!
